Presentazione

Luca Salvati, laureato in Scienze Biologiche presso la Terza Università di Roma, in Statistica per le Analisi Demografiche e Sociali nonchè in Statistica ed Economia presso l’Università di Roma ‘La Sapienza’, Specializzato in Geografia presso l’Università di Roma ‘Tor Vergata’, esperto nei temi dello sviluppo sostenibile, delle applicazioni cartografiche e dei Sistemi Informativi Territoriali, del Telerilevamento Applicato alle tematiche ambientali, degli indicatori agro-ambientali, del cambiamento climatico. I principali temi di ricerca riguardano, attualmente, la vulnerabilità alla siccità e il rischio di desertificazione nel bacino del Mediterraneo nonchè il degrado dei suoli, con particolare riferimento ai fenomeni dell'erosione, salinizzazione, compattazione e sigillamento. E' da tempo interessato anche all'impatto ambientale degli incendi. Conduce linee di ricerca anche sul tema della valutazione monetaria delle risorse naturali. Ha collaborato a numerosi progetti di ricerca, sia nazionali che esteri, per conto dell’Ufficio Centrale di Ecologia Agraria (UCEA), ora CRA-CMA, dell’Istituto per le Ricerche Economiche e Sociali (IRES), dell'Istituto Nazionale di Statistica (ISTAT). Ha, inoltre, all’attivo svariate collaborazioni con enti di ricerca quali il CNR e l’ISPRA e numerose università sia in Italia che all’estero. Attualmente ricercatore presso il Consiglio per la Ricerca e la Sperimentazione in Agricoltura (Roma). Ha pubblicato dieci libri a stampa e più di 50 pubblicazioni scientifiche in lingua inglese oltre a molti saggi, contributi e atlanti cartografici in lingua italiana.


Biosketch

Luca Salvati, geographer, has two degrees (ecology: 2000; demography and social sciences: 2004), master's degree in economic statistics, specialization degree in Geography and Environment, PhD in Economic Geography. He is adjunct Professor of Cartography and GIS, multivariate statistics, and strategic Environmental Assessment at Third University of Rome. He collaborates with University of Rome 'La Sapienza' in the field of urban and rural geography. He is currently permanent researcher at the Italian Council for Research and Experimentation in Agriculture (CRA); He has also collaborated, as a research fellow, with various research institutions in the framework of both national and European projects on the following themes: desertification, sustainable agriculture, land-use, climate change, urban sprawl and polycentric development at the regional scale, with reference to the Mediterranean basin. He is the author of more than 70 scientific articles in English, more than ten books, essays and cartographical atlases.

Luca Salvati, géographe, a un diplôme en écologie, ainsi que dans la démographie et sciences sociales, d'une maîtrise en statistiques économiques, spécialisé en géographie et environnement, doctorat en géographie économique, est professeur adjoint de cartographie et de SIG, analyse multidimensionelle des données et évaluation stratégique environnementale à l'Université de Rome III. Collabore avec l'Université de Rome «La Sapienza» dans les études de géographie urbaine et le thème des paysages ruraux. Chercheur à l'Institut national italien de statistique (ISTAT) et, actuellement, à le Conseil Italien pour la recherche et l'expérimentation en agriculture (CRA), a collaboré avec diverses institutions de recherche dans des projets nationaux et européens sur les thèmes suivants: lutte contre la désertification, l'agriculture durable, l'utilisation des terres, le changement climatique, l'étalement urbain et le phénomène du polycentrisme à l'échelle régionale, avec une référence particulière au bassin méditerranéen. Il est l'auteur de nombreux articles scientifiques en anglais, plus de dix monographies, des essais et des atlas.

Συνεργάζεταιμετο Πανεπιστήμιο «La Sapienza» της Ρώμης σε μελέτες της αστικής γεωγραφίας και το θέματου αγροτικού τοπίου. Στο παρελθόν, ο Λουκάς Salvati ήταν ερευνητής στο Ιταλικό Εθνικό Ινστιτούτο Στατιστικής (ISTAT), και σήμερα είναι ανώτερος ερευνητής του Iταλικού Συμβουλίου για την έρευνα και τον πειραματισμός τον τομέα της Γεωργίας (CRA), έχει συνεργαστεί με διάφορα ερευνητικά ιδρύματασε εθνικά έργακαιτων Ευρωπαίων σχετικά μετα ακόλουθα θέματα: την καταπολέμηση της απερήμωσης και της υποβάθμισης του εδάφους, τη βιώσιμη γεωργία, η κλιματική αλλαγή, αλλαγή στη χρήση γης, η άναρχη δόμηση και το φαινόμενο της πολυκεντρικότητας σε περιφερειακό επίπεδο, μειδιαίτερη αναφοράστη λεκάνη της Μεσογείου. Luca Salvati, geógrafo, es licenciado en ecología (2000) y en la demografía y las ciencias sociales (2004), maestría en estadística económica (2007), tiene un título de postgrado en Geografía y Medio Ambiente, es doctor en Geografía Económica, es profesor a 'Cartografía y GIS' contrato de "análisis de datos multidimensional" y "evaluación ambiental estratégica" en la Tercera Universidad de Roma. Colabora con la Universidad de "La Sapienza" de Roma en los estudios de geografía urbana y el tema de los paisajes rurales. En el pasado, Lucas Salvati era investigador en el Instituto Nacional Italiano de Estadística (ISTAT), y actualmente es investigador senior del Consejo Italiano para la Investigación y Experimentación en Agricultura (CRA), ha colaborado con diversas instituciones de investigaciónen proyectos nacionales y los europeos sobre los siguientes temas: lucha contra la desertificación y la degradación de la tierra, la agricultura sostenible, el cambio climático, el cambio de uso de la tierra, la expansión urbana y el fenómeno del policentrismo a escala regional, con especial referencia a la cuenca del Mediterráneo. Colaboracom a Universidade de "La Sapienza" de Roma em estudos de geografia urbana eo tema das paisagens rurais. No passado, Lucas Salvati foi pesquisador do Instituto Nacional Italiano de Estatísticas (Istat), e atualmente é pesquisador sênior do Conselho Italiano de Pesquisa e Experimentação em Agricultura (CRA), tem colaborado com diversas instituições de pesquisa em projetos nacionais e europeus sobre os seguintes temas: a luta contra a desertificação e a degradação dos solos, a agricultura sustentável, mudanças climáticas, mudanças no uso da terra, a expansão urbana e o fenômeno do policentralidade em escala regional, com especial referência para a bacia do Mediterrâneo. Ele é o autor de vários artigos científicos em Inglês, mais de dez monografias, ensaios e atlas.
